Those who believe they may be eligible for assistance should call the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission Unemployment Insurance Service Center at (800) 555-1554 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. When calling, individuals should have their Social Security number and the name and address of their last employer or prospective employer.

Claims filed after Nov. 1 will be considered untimely and benefits will be denied unless the individual provides good cause for filing after this date. The first possible week of compensation is the week ending Aug. 11, 2012, and the last possible week of compensation is the week ending Feb. 23, 2013.
