Would background check by DHS have helped baby?

Regarding “Before baby died, DHS had reported problems” (News, Feb. 8): Klisha Lucille Brown was found with a shattered skull and multiple bruises, allegedly inflicted by her grandmother's boyfriend, Damon Landry , in a home where the Department of Human Services placed her.
