Oklahoma State freshman and former Stillwater wrestling state champion Chandler Rogers won the freestyle Junior National Championship at 170 pounds in Fargo, N.D., on Saturday.

Rogers also finished runner-up in the Greco-Roman competition earlier in the week. He won his fourth high school state title last season after winning three while in Spokane, Wash.

Fellow OSU freshman Gary Wayne Harding, a four-time state champion at Collinsville, was fifth at 132 pounds.

Three current Stillwater standouts also earned All-American honors in freestyle. Andrew Nieman was sixth at 113 pounds, Kaid Brock fifth at 126 pounds, and Joe Smith fourth at 152 pounds.

Oklahoma freshman Lance, Joel, and Andrew Dixon had a strong showing during the week.

Lance took sixth in Greco-Roman at 182 pounds after injury defaulting in his final two matches. Joel was runner-up in Greco-Roman and fourth in freestyle at 195 pounds. At 220 pounds, Andrew finished runner-up in freestyle. The triplets recently finished stellar careers at Edmond North with state titles.

Other freestyle All-American winners include: Tulsa Union’s Mason Naifeh (100 pounds), Altus’ Montorie Bridges (113 pounds), Putnam City’s Keagan Moore (132 pounds), Norman North’s Hayden Hansen (160 pounds), and Muskogee graduate Jacobe Smith (160 pounds).

Heritage Hall’s Kaden Gfeller (106 pounds) finished third in the Cadet division.
