LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Just in time for Veterans Day, the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History is opening an exhibition of posters from World War I.

The exhibit opens Friday and will feature more than 30 posters from the Great War, as it was known.

Organizers note that posters played an important role in defining the conflict for citizens and to help muster resources and recruit soldiers.

The posters helped raise $30 billion through loan drives and conservation efforts.

With the posters will be artifacts from the war and interpretive panels that will define the U.S. participation in the war.

The posters will be on exhibit through November 2014, which will mark the 100th anniversary of the start of World War I.

Veterans Day is Monday.
