Everyone and their dog has seen the Disney movie “Up,” which showcases a colorful yet quaint house that the main character lives in.
The house is now kind of an iconic piece of Pixar history that has inspired everything from cakes to dollhouses.
But what would you do if one of your neighbors decided to renovate their house to look like the one in “Up”?
A couple in Santa Clara, Calif., did just that, and it’s got some neighbors in a tizzy.
Hosam Haggog, owner of the “Up” house, said the reason for the renovation is simple: The couple wanted to make their daughters happy.
They love the movie Up and we just thought we’d give them something fun to be proud of and actually all the kids in the neighborhood really love the colors.
Hard to hate on the sentiment, but residents association member Lou Faria doesn’t have kind words to say about the project:
It really, in my opinion, is atrocious that this Victorian is a gracious old lady and it’s being painted up to look like a clown.
