Wyoming beats Montana 79-65 in women's basketball

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Kayla Woodward scored 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in leading Wyoming past Montana 79-65 on Tuesday night in Laramie.

Fallon Lewis contributed 18 points, Marquelle Dent 14 and Kaylie Rader 12 for the Cowgirls (8-2).

Wyoming shot 47 percent from the field and out-rebounded the Lady Griz 46-40.

Montana (6-3) was led by Kellie Cole with 13 points and Jordan Sullivan with 12.

The Lady Griz shot 35 percent from the field, including 9-of-30 3-pointers.
