LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming Cowboys open fall football camp next Monday at 8:45 a.m. on the South Practice Field in Laramie.
UW is coming off its most successful season since 1998, posting an 8-5 record and a bid to the 2011 Gildan New Mexico Bowl.
The Cowboys will hold 25 fall practices in preparation for the season opener at Texas on Sept. 1.
Camp ends on Aug. 21.
The first hour of fall practice will be open to the public.
The Pokes are scheduled to conduct three fall scrimmages that will be open to the public. They are set for Aug. 11 at 3:45 p.m.; Aug. 18 at 10 a.m.; and Aug. 22 at 8:45 a.m.
Fourth-year head coach Dave Christensen has 13 returning starters and 41 returning lettermen.
