LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming will play a Friday night football game in Laramie this fall in order to accommodate national television.
The Cowboys will host Utah State on Nov. 7. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. at War Memorial Stadium and will be televised on ESPN2.
UW coach Craig Bohl says in a statement that the game will give the Cowboys program valuable national exposure.
The Wyoming-Utah State game is one of 11 Friday night telecasts announced by the Mountain West Conference on Thursday that will be carried on either CBS Sports Network or the ESPN networks.
