NEW YORK (AP) — Xavier scored four times in the seventh inning to take the lead and hung on to beat Seton Hall 5-3 on Saturday and advance to the Big East tournament title game against Creighton.

Sean Campbell (2-1) pitched 4 2-3 scoreless innings of relief to earn the victory for Xavier (28-27). The Musketeers will take on the top-seeded Bluejays (32-16-1) on Sunday at MCU Park in Brooklyn, with the winner earning the Big East's automatic berth to the NCAA tournament.

Seton Hall starter Anthony Pacillo (4-2) held Xavier without a hit for the first five innings as the Pirates (39-15) took a 3-0 lead.

Trailing 3-1, Xavier loaded the bases against Pacillo in the seventh. Ryan Testani came on in relief, but hit Andre Jernigan with a pitch to force in a run. The Musketeers tied it on Stephen Schoettmer's fielder's choice, and went ahead on Bo Slemons' sacrifice fly.
