The Bulldogs (2-4, 1-2) trailed 7-3 when they took over at their 41 after a Quakers punt. Scott completed four passes before finding Furman on second down 18 seconds before halftime.

Brian Leffler's 47-yard return after intercepting a Billy Ragone pass set up Yale at the Penn 4 in the third quarter, and Derek Russell's 4-yard pass to Elijah Thomas made it 17-7.

After two field goals by Penn (2-4, 2-1), sandwiched around one by Yale, Russell, one of three Yale quarterbacks, drove the Bulldogs 74 yards and ran it in from the 3 for the final score with 8:01 remaining.

Ragone was 16-of-31 passing for Penn, giving him 311 career completions to pass Mark DeRosa of baseball's Washington Nationals for sixth on the Quakers' career list.
