The crybabies, though, were wearing Patriots' garb.
First, Bill Belichick left the field before the game was over. Now, Tom Brady and Randy Moss have opted out of the Pro Bowl because of "injuries.”
What's hurting is their pride.
Athletes are taught at a young age that you shouldn't be a poor sport or a sore loser. They might be disappointed. They might be torn up inside. But they need to act gracious in defeat.
Perhaps the Patriots need a refresher course.
No doubt Belichick, Brady and Moss are disappointed about losing the Super Bowl and ruining a perfect season. Being gracious comes more easily when you're winning, but even little kids know that you have to muster it up when you lose.
