Remember that New Year’s Resolution you made to eat healthier? Don’t let Super Bowl Sunday ruin it.

Here’s your vegan guide to eating healthier on game day.

Now you can still stress eat and have more energy to throw the TV remote at the wall when your team throws an interception or misses a block.

Vegans don’t just eat fruits and veggies. We like substitutes for traditional meals too. One of my favorites is seitan buffalo wings. Add some spicy hot sauce and you’re good to go. Mmmmmm.

And instead of potato chips, which can be vegan depending on the brand, try some delicious crisp kale chips. They’re easy to bake and are super healthy for you.

If you’re grilling out, try some Boca burgers (soy patties). They’re really tasty and have a similar texture to meat. The spicy “chicken” patties are my favorite.

I bet you thought vegans couldn’t have Mac and Cheese. Wrong! Another one of my favorite dishes is cauliflower Mac and Cheese. In fact, I could probably live off this for the rest of my life.

And if all else fails, you can still snack on chips and salsa, guacamole and/or vegan queso.

Enjoy the game and post your own recipes below.
