Youth addiction, recovery are focus of program at Oklahoma City University

A program on youth addiction and recovery will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Meinders Auditorium at Oklahoma City University.

The 12 Recovery Foundation will host its “Youth Recovery From Addiction” program at Oklahoma City University on Saturday.

The program will begin at 7 p.m. at the Meinders Auditorium, 2501 N Blackwelder, and will include a screening of the film “12” followed by a panel discussion from cast members of the film.

“12” is a documentary that chronicles the lives of young alcoholics and drug addicts who are seeking a better way of life through recovery.

The program is free and open to the public and is presented in collaboration with The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, Integris Mental Health and OCU.
