Yukon High School holds topping-out ceremony
YUKON — The new Yukon High School is almost a year from completion, but that didn't stop supporters from celebrating the future with a topping-out ceremony this week.
Several dozen community members joined school administrators, teachers and construction workers Tuesday morning to see a signed beam lifted into place on the school's gymnasium near the corner of State Highway 4 and Vandament Avenue.
