Yukon is attracting businesses

Yukon City Manager Jim Crosby said officials are working to bring a major retailer like JC Penney to Yukon as well as a new grocery store.

YUKON — A year ago, city officials were close to securing a deal with a big box retailer.

But a nationwide recession put a halt to nearly all new stores.
