Yukon keeps drawing new residents

YUKON — Yukon has welcomed about 1,400 people to the city since the last census came out in 2000.

What these new residents have found is a city outpacing the rest of the state in median household income, homeownership and educational levels.

Yukon also has a lower percentage of people in poverty and a slightly older median age than Oklahoma as a whole. That’s according to estimates from the Census B...
