Several children suffered minor injuries Thursday morning when a Yukon school bus collided with another vehicle in northwest Oklahoma City.
The bus was carrying several dozen children about 7:20 a.m. when the accident occurred near Morgan and Hefner roads. The bus was traveling northbound on Morgan Road. The driver of a pickup traveling southbound on Morgan Road tried to make a left turn and the pickup was struck by the bus, police said.
Seven children on the bus were treated for minor scrapes and were released to their parents, said Lara O'Leary, a spokeswoman for the Emergency Medical Services Authority. Two teenage girls from the pickup were taken to a hospital in good condition.
