Yukon's Chisholm Trail Crawfish Festival is Saturday

Chisholm Trail Crawfish Festival in Yukon offers fun, food and learning for the entire family.

The Cajun- and cowboy-themed Chisholm Trail Crawfish Festival is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Festival events are at Kirkpatrick Family Farm, 1001 Garth Brooks Blvd., and include gunfights, pony rides, an artillery demonstration, crawfish boil and other food.

Several events designed for children and families include the Kids Kreative Korral, prairie crafts, dance lessons, a Wild West show, panning for gold and a petting zoo. There also will be live Cajun and Zydeco music and exhibits featuring Buffalo Bill Cody, primitive bow makers, a chuck wagon blacksmiths and western artists and re-enactors.
