Quarterback Zac Robinson became Oklahoma State's all-time leader in passing yardage during the Cowboys' 34-8 win over Iowa State at Jack Trice Stadium on Saturday.

Robinson has 8,065 career passing yards, breaking OSU coach Mike Gundy's record of 7,997 passing yards.

"It's an accomplishment," Robinson said. "I've had so much fun playing and it's definitely something I'll look back on."

Robinson broke Gundy's record with his 10-yard touchdown pass to Tracy Moore in the second quarter.

"I'm glad it happened on a play that mattered instead of a screen or something," Robinson said.

Gundy was happy for his senior quarterback but joked that Zac may have gotten a couple more opportunities to throw than he did thanks to Gundy's backfield mate: Barry Sanders.

"I joke with Zac (about that)," Gundy said. "That's back when we threw 21 or 22 passes per game, we passed it backwards and for good reason we had a good guy to toss it to."

Robinson, who has thrown a touchdown pass in 12 straight games, finished 19 of 24 pass attempts for 142 yards and one touchdown.
