Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett, University of Oklahoma coaching legend Barry Switzer, and Gov. Mary Fallin, all took turns Thursday as the first to try out the new 700-foot SandRidge Sky Zip over the Oklahoma River.

Cornett got stuck on the line, and a worker had to go out and give him a push so he could finish his ride. The latest attraction to be added to the RiverSport park at Lincoln Boulevard and the Oklahoma River officially opens Saturday and will operate Tuesdays through Sundays until Aug. 24.

A single ride across the river and back will cost $20, while unlimited rides for a day is $50 and a season pass is $100.
