Woman charged with animal cruelty
Animal cruelty charges have been filed against a woman accused of letting a pit bill terrier starve at her home.
Pauletta Samis , 36, faces one felony count of animal cruelty after sheriff's deputies removed a starving dog with maggot-infested wounds from her home in rural Pontotoc County earlier this week.
