Leach unhappy after game

Coach says team wants to pout
Mike Gundy wasn't the only coach who had a tirade after Saturday's game. Texas Tech coach Mike Leach had one of his own after a 49-45 loss.

"This is going to hurt some feelings ... but here's what we had this game. What we had this game was we had an offense that was extremely powerful, extremely productive, that probably sits and reads their press clippings, and then in arrogant fashion, sat around the sidelines with their arms folded for most of the second half.

"And then defensively, the entire first half, we got hit in the mouth and acted like somebody took our lunch money and all we wanted to do was have pouty expressions on our faces until somebody daubed our tears off made us (expletive) feel better. Then we'd go out there and try harder after our mommies told us we were OK.

"Well, neither one of those things is acceptable.

"Offensively, we've got a bunch of front-runners, and defensively, we've got a bunch of guys that get hit in the mouth and they want to pout. They think concerned expressions are a replacement for fast legs, low pads and determined effort. That's not acceptable.”

Couldnt agree more. Leach points out when players playing like mommas boys & Gundy gets mad for some one pointing it out. Got to love Mike Leach.

Reid and Gundy need to remember that they say any thing they want as long they spell their name correctly.

Jenni Carlson is the Oklahoman's Dan Rather. Reporting something as a fact, without checking it out.

Gundy throws a tirade that a writer made fun of one of his players for being a mommies-boy and Leach bashes his players for acting like mommies-boy's...... the difference between the two is striking.

Again, garbage written by no one but two staff writers.
