Proposal calls for state rock song

OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma has an official rock, the Barite Rose Rock, but not an official "rock" song.

A resolution adopted unanimously by the state Senate on Tuesday seeks to rectify that and add an official rock-and-roll tune to the array of other official songs.

Under the measure, the public will vote online to pick the state's favorite rock song.
