Former workers for two companies in Oklahoma have been approved for assistance under the Trade Readjustment Assistance program.

Assistance is offered to workers

Former workers of Hostess Brands Inc.in Tulsa have been ruled eligible for benefits through the Trade Readjustment Assistance program by the U.S. Labor Department, which offers income support, relocation, job search allowances and health coverage tax credits. Also, former employees of Elliott Homes Inc. in Madill also are eligible for assistance under the program. Laid-off workers who want to apply should contact their nearest Workforce Oklahoma Center at (888) 980-9675.
