How to succeed in school

Below are tips for students from various Oklahoma colleges/universities. For more information on specific programs, contact the school of your choice.


• Come focused on your goal.


• Address issues as they arise.


• Stay on top of your reading for class.


• Know how you are going to pay for school.


• Seek assistance from the various resources on campus.


• Contact your instructor as soon as possible if you have questions about a class or concerns about class performance.


• Attend class. Excessive absences are one of the leading causes of poor academic performance.


• Remember that you are not alone. Get connected and share your concerns.
