Council races in Oklahoma City, Edmond, Norman to be decided Tuesday

Several important municipal and school board races will be decided at polling precincts Tuesday.

Two members of the Oklahoma City Council, as well as mayors and council members in Edmond, Norman, Mustang and Stillwater, will be decided during the elections.


The Oklahoma City Council races are runoffs. In Ward 1, incumbent Gary Marrs faces off against James Greiner. Incumbent Ronald “Skip” Kelly will be looking for re-election against challenger John A. Pettis Jr. in Ward 7.

Other local races include runoffs for the Deer Creek School Board and for mayor of Nicoma Park, as well as for boards and councils in Forest Park, Harrah, Luther and Valley Brook.

Polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
