Cox to offer 3D coverage of PGA Championship
Viewers can focus on Whistling Straits' par-3 holes 12 and 17 from 2-6 p.m. each day.
Cox Communications will provide free access to 3D coverage of the PGA Championship today and Friday on Cox channel 703 and www.pga.com. The 3D coverage, which is available to Cox Advanced TV customers, will focus on Whistling Straits' par-3 holes 12 and 17 from 2-6 p.m. each day.
Two two-hour segments from each day also will be available on-demand in the FreeZone section of Cox's channel 1.
Cox customers without a 3DTV are invited to the Edmond or Norman stores to get a firsthand look at the new technology.
Consumers will need a 3DTV and a Cox HD or HD/DVR receiver to access the programming. The TV manufacturer's specified 3D glasses also are required.
