Kingfisher Mayor Jack Stuteville will face two other candidates in a recall vote during Tuesday's election.
That election is one of several scheduled Tuesday throughout the Oklahoma City metro area.
A group of Kingfisher residents, upset with the firing of Kingfisher Fire Chief Randy Poindexter, filed a recall petition against Stuteville in October.
Stuteville's name will appear on Tuesday's ballot along with challengers Steve Richards and Dawn Terrell.
Voters statewide will see a number of school board and bond issues on ballots. In Oklahoma City, Ron Millican, the current District 7 school board member, faces Wilfredo Santos-Rivera, who formerly held the seat. Millican, a former assistant superintendent in the Midwest City-Del City School District, defeated Santos-Rivera for the seat four years ago.
Board member Ruth Veales is running unopposed for the district's other open seat.
Voters in the Midwest City-Del City School District will consider two bond issues. The first, a $10 million bond package, would fund security improvements at sites around the district. District officials hope to place security vestibules, electronic access controls and security cameras at most schools.
The second bond issue would give the district $400,000 to buy school buses.
In the Mustang School District, voters will consider a $7 million bond issue; $1.6 million would finance technology around the district, including 3-D printers, tablet computers and laptops.
The bond issue also would go to build storm shelters at Mustang Education Center and Mustang High School. That project would carry a $1 million price tag. Also included in the package would be a $1.225 million softball and baseball training facility and a $1.4 million Junior ROTC building.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Voters must show proof of identity when voting. Acceptable forms of identification include an Oklahoma driver's license or identification card, a U.S. passport or military identification card, or photo identification from a federally recognized tribe.
