GUTHRIE — Logan County deputies and agents from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation have responded to the scene of a body that was set on fire west of Langston.

Langston police called the sheriff's office about 3 p.m. Friday to report a body was on fire near the corner of County Road 75 and Hiwassee Road.

Logan County Chief Deputy Richard Stephens said the body was bound, and appeared to have been dumped and set on fire. The body was burned so badly that investigators weren't able to determine if the victim was male or female, Stephens said.
