Promotion: Winning weekdays. If the Barons win every fan receives a free ticket to either the Nov. 12 or Dec. 3 games, the next two weekday home games.

Scouting report: The Barons (1-3-0) posted their first win Sunday at Iowa. Texas defeated Chicago 4-1 and lost to Rockford 4-3. ... OKC's offense is off to a slow start. The Barons have allowed only nine goals in four games but have only one win. ... Derek Nesbitt scored two goals in Sunday's win. Ryan Martindale and Andrew Miller have three points each, Ryan Jones has two goals. ... OKC goaltender Richard Bachman is 0-3-0 despite a solid 2.36 goals against average and .920 saves percentage. ... The Texas Stars, Dallas' Triple-A affiliate, is led by 29-year-old veteran AHL center Travis Morin. He is off to a sizzling start. Morin has six points (three goals, three assists) in two games. ... Goalie Jack Campbell made 18 saves, allowing only one goal in a win. ... This is the first of 12 meetings between the Western Conference West division rivals.
