Some thunderstorms may cause localized heavy rain, according to the National Weather Service.

There's a chance of scattered rain and thunderstorms through today, mainly east of a line extending from Duncan to Enid, as an upper level low over eastern Oklahoma moves slowly eastward.

Areas of fog will also continue through the early morning. The lowest visibilities will be in western parts of Oklahoma where visibilities may drop to less than one-half mile.

Temperatures should begin to climb back toward average levels, forecasters said.

Mostly cloudy conditions are expected today. Highs should reach the 80s in the east and peak in the 90s in the southwest and Panhandle. Lows tonight are expected to dip into the 60s and 70s.

Partly cloudy skies will cover most of the state Friday through Monday. Temperatures should warm into the 80s and 90s on Friday and Saturday and cool into the 60s and 70s both nights.
