Tulsa church to pay $1.75M in settlement

TULSA — Members of a Presbyterian congregation will pay their former denomination $1.75 million to retain their church property in south central Tulsa.

Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church voted Sunday to settle litigation with the Eastern Oklahoma Presbytery by paying the presbytery for property at 4102 E 61. The settlement comes after a Tulsa County District Court judge ruled Sept. 9 that the presbytery ...
